Undergraduate Physics Seminar: "Randomization Techniques for Low Discrepancy Sequences," David Zhang
David Zhang has worked with a group of researchers at Illinois tech for the past three years, where he conducted research on quasi-Monte Carlo methods, a field of numerical integration, and contributed to the implementation of QMCPy, the largest python library for quasi-Monte Carlo. This talk will be a synopsis of David’s recent work.

Cody is a junior at UIUC pursuing Astrophysics and Mathematics. Under Prof. Shapiro, Cody is involved in research on neutron star mergers and gravitational waves. He is a member of the Illinois Space Society, University of Illinois Astronomical Society, and SIGQuantum. Cody’s interests focus on numerical relativity and the dynamical evolution of compact objects.
