NPRE Events

 

Make sure to RSVP for SPEED Interchange on Tuesday, Sept. 30. SPEED Interchange is a yearly event where NPRE alumni can share information about employers, internships, and career opportunities with current students.

Post-SPEED opportunity

Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Core Engineering is looking for Nuclear Engineering students interested in the following positions:

  • 2026 summer internship: current sophomore, junior, or senior students with planned master's program post grad. 
  • 2026 full timeplanned graduation spring 2026 to begin working ~ June-2026

Core Engineering will be hiring for 4 disciplines: Nuclear Core Design, Thermal Hydraulics, Fuel Rod Design/Fuel Performance, and Spent Fuel Pool Criticality. *Please indicate on your resume if one of these focus areas is of interest to you

Send your resume with clearly stated interest for intern or full-time to WestinghouseCoreEngineering@westinghouse.com by September 24th. Westinghouse will be on campus Wednesday, October 1, conducting interviews in Talbot Room 100B.

Upcoming Opportunities

Friday, Sept. 26 is the application deadline for MPR Early Career Engineer and Summer/Co-op Engineer positions

ECS Career Peers will be on-site in 220 Talbot this Friday from 1-2 p.m. to help you prepare for SPEED-Interchange.
