The ninth month of the Islamic calendar observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to Muhammad. Some Muslim employees and students observing Ramadan may request schedule adjustments in order to observe. Your department may find that more employees require space or time for prayer during this period.

Chin-Hsuan (Sharon) Cheng, a Taiwanese pianist, has performed on many occasions around the world. This salon-style performance offers a close connection between artist and guests as audience members sit in 6 rows of seats on stage with the performer. Light refreshments are served before and after the performance. Balcony tickets (without refreshments) are also available.

"Reflect on what you're learning" is a hopeful but difficult prompt for students and instructors. In this workshop, two scholars and instructors from the clinical-community psychology department will introduce a simple framework for engaging in reflection assignments and broader reflexive practice, playfully called “SpORE" (Specific Observation, Reaction, Expansion).
