  • A baby llama wearing red pajamas, sculpted from fondant, lays in a bed made from cake. The text says "edible book festival. March 29, 11:30-12:30 at Common Ground Coop." "make a book of tasty treats, yummy snacks and things to eat! Pile it high, let's begin - create your book, and you could win!"
    • 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
    • Common Ground Coop, Lincoln Square Mall

Around April 1st, bibliophiles, book artists, and food lovers around the world gather to celebrate the book arts and the (literal!) ingestion of culture. Participants create an “edible book,” which can be inspired by a favorite tale, involve a pun on a famous title, or simply be in the shape of a book (or scroll, or tablet, etc).
