    Learn about the Civil Transfer list and how it can be used in the hiring process; become aware of what’s required for employee promotions and other types of position changes; learn about the review and approval of salaries; and understand why pay equity is important and how it is evaluated. Registration is required. This training will be conducted through Zoom.

  • 1:00 - 2:30 pm

    Establish ethical guardrails and safe AI policies. The employee series is designed for anyone interested in either learning more about AI or using it to boost productivity, creativity, and problem-solving. Sessions focus on hands-on applications that you can use in your daily work.

    The trainers from F&S will be holding their popular fire extinguisher training for the entire campus. If you'd like to attend this training, please register in advance as space is limited. The training will include hands-on practice with fire extinguishers and a fire simulator.

    The New Student Employee Orientation (NSEO) in Microsoft Teams: the topics covered will include an introduction to Illini Union, important policies, GREAT customer service, training & development and staying safe.

    This live Training Session for Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) initial certification will be held in Microsoft Teams and room 229. You can attend through Teams on your phone, on your computer or by using one of the two HR computers outside room 221.

  • 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

    Substance Abuse in the Workplace educates supervisors on how to address an impaired employee and the impact these individuals have in the workplace. Campus policies and procedures presented by IHR and guidance on how to consult with FSAWS are included in the training. This seminar is for Deans, Directors, Department Heads, administrators, managers, supervisors & foremen.

    An interactive program for employees looking to strengthen their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to become more effective in the workplace. This session focuses on different aspects of leadership, reflecting on your own leadership skills, values, and goals and developing a language for understanding and cultivating capable leaders.

  • 2:00 - 4:00 pm
    Document Services Building conference room: 54 E. Gregory Drive, Champaign

    Gina Head and Ben Kuhlman of F&S will visit Doc Services to share practical advice on how to stay safe, prevent accidents and avoid workplace injuries. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions and direct their questions to the trainers.
