    Dr. Bryan Sexton will demonstrate the mechanisms at work that cause burnout and look at how evidence-based interventions counteract those mechanisms to result in wellbeing improvements. Explore fresh ideas and generate innovative strategies to address the growing need for effective and available mental health services.

    This New Employee Orientation (NEO) will be held in Microsoft Teams. This optional training is highly recommended for recent new hires.     Gina Head and Ben Kuhlman of F&S will return to Illini Union to share practical advice on how to stay safe, prevent accidents and avoid workplace injuries. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in discussions and direct their questions to the trainers.

    Most people think of bullying as something done to children by other children, but it is evident that bullying can be perpetrated and experienced by people of any age.     The trainers from F&S will be holding their popular fire extinguisher training for the entire campus. If you'd like to attend this training, please register in advance as space is limited. The training will include hands-on practice with fire extinguishers and a fire simulator.

    Substance Abuse in the Workplace educates supervisors on how to address an impaired employee and the impact these individuals have in the workplace. Campus policies and procedures presented by IHR and guidance on how to consult with FSAWS are included in the training. This seminar is for Deans, Directors, Department Heads, administrators, managers, supervisors & foremen.

    This will be a professional development session for supervisors and senior managers from across Illini Union. Participants will discuss how to evaluate exempt employees during this session. Coverage will include a refresher on the timeline for the current evaluation process as well as the use of self-assessments in the evaluation process.
