Join Research Park on Wednesday, June 17 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a Women in Tech Luncheon with Melinda Miller, CEO of Pixo.  

About the Speaker: 
Melinda Miller is CEO, President, and Co-owner of Pixo, a Champaign-Urbana tech firm established in 1998. Woman-owned & diverse by design. Melinda creates, communicates, and implements Pixo’s mission and vision including strategic planning, management and supervision, recruiting and hiring, and project consulting. Pixo is now based in the University of Illinois Research Park. Since its origins in Urbana, Pixo has completed more than 1500 tech projects for its clients: web applications, websites, mobile applications, custom databases, embedded device software, digital product prototyping, and AI tools. Their industries focus on agriculture, manufacturing, and higher education. Before becoming CEO, Melinda was a user experience researcher and designer specializing in information architecture. She also is a former journalist and worked for newspapers and news websites from 1993 to 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in library and information science, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
