You are cordially invited  to Viola al-Mashura (The Enchanted Viola)—a unique concert celebrating the fusion of Egyptian and Western classical music, taking place on March 9, 2025, at 3:30 PM in Smith Recital Hall at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

This program, performed by violist Christina Ebersohl and pianist Melissa Terrall, brings together iconic Egyptian classical works and Western compositions, showcasing the beauty of musical diversity. The concert marks the conclusion of an international tour spanning Switzerland and Egypt and features two world premieres by distinguished composers Sherif Mohie Eldin and Marek Woods-Harris. At its heart, The Enchanted Viola is a celebration of cultural dialogue and the power of music to unite.
