Scholarship Events and Deadlines

The Churchill Scholarship requires one year of graduate study leading to a degree (generally a master's) in engineering, mathematics, and/or the sciences at Cambridge University, England. U.S. citizens in their last year of undergraduate studies or who graduated with their undergraduate degree within the last 12 months are eligible to apply. A Kanders Churchill Scholarship is also available for a STEM student who wishes to pursue an MPhil in Public Policy at Cambridge.

This informational session and application workshop is targeted to seniors and will provide an overview of the Churchill Scholarship. We will discuss basic eligibility requirements, selection criteria, and the application process for this award. The latter portion of the event is designed to introduce some of the application components for the scholarship and help participants start to develop content for them.  This is a great opportunity to strategize and get feedback on your ideas for your personal statement and other written portions of the application.

Information regarding the Churchill Scholarship can be found at http://topscholars.illinois.edu/churchill
