This meetup is targeted towards professionals and students in Champaign-Urbana and the surrounding region with an interest in cloud computing platforms including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, and Alibaba Cloud.

AWS: From the Front Door to the Data Center Floor
Speaker: Wyatt Shuler 

A high-level overview of the physical and digital infrastructure of AWS data centers and how they operate their highly available services. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of where AWS services run and how AWS manages their services. We'll explore the AWS philosophy regarding the management of highly available services, their approach to security, and ensuring the continuity of their customers' operations. This talk is ideal for those who want to learn more about AWS infrastructure and how they operate their cloud services.
