How to write an interface with a button that execute code

Session 2 - Jan 25
How to get various user inputs and pass them to our internal code
How to navigate Qt documentation

How to create your own widget
How to combine various elements to create a more complex interface

Recommended Prerequisites:
Beginner-intermediate to intermediate knowledge of Python since we will focus on Qt itself. Instructions on how to create a test environment will be shared before Session 1 on both Slack and GitHub.

Jessica Koubi

About speakers:
Jessica started to work in the movie industry as an artist. She learned how to code to automate some of her tasks and fell in love with software engineering. She has spent the last decade and more creating data pipelines, VFX and animation tools, automating processes and managing large scale data-flow, in particular for machine learning.
