Ken Miller from ESnet presents “Data Movement Exhibition Update“. Here is a quick abstract for the talk:

The Data Mobility Exhibition (DME) uses reference data sets, and existing campus CI components, to download, measure, and potentially improve their scientific data movement capabilities.

This talk will provide an update on this year-long experiment. We hope to to understand and improve our collective ability to address a critical problem in scientific technology use: transferring data sets using networks at consistent high performance speeds.
