Explore trees native to Illinois as well as species introduced to the area at Arboretum Tree Identification Walks on Wednesdays, Sept. 24 or Oct. 15 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Illinois Arboretum (1800 S. Lincoln Ave., Urbana). Meet in the Arboretum Parking Lot*. (Both sessions will cover the same material).

Join Illinois Extension Educator Ryan Pankau on an approximately half-mile walk to learn how to identify features for more than 10 tree species and discuss healthy practices for trees in your own yard. Students will leave with a renewed appreciation for trees and arboriculture!

$10/person. Register here. Registration will close one day before each course begins or when capacity is reached. All sales are final.

*Limited metered parking spots are available in the lot near the Noel Welcome Garden and along South Lincoln Avenue. Additional metered parking is available in the lot south of the Japan House. (Electronic payment only by MobileMeter.) Parking is free after 5 p.m. and on weekends.
