This 2-hour Outlook Calendar workshop, participants will learn to schedule & edit appointments; work with calendar labels and tasks displayed on the Calendar. We will schedule with the Scheduling Assistant, practice scheduling a conference room, and discuss scheduling Online Meetings, and discuss calendar permissions.

We have many options for scheduling online meetings these days. We will use Outlook for a central place to keep track of several kinds of online meetings and to make sure we have reminders. We will look at recommendations for scheduling with Zoom and Teams. We will go over helpful tips for each platform, including scheduling as a delegate. Prereq: Outlook Calendar workshop

In this two-hour workshop, learn how to create and work with Access tables. We will create a table using application parts and from scratch. We will create a primary key and start entering data. We will work with fields in a table (adding, deleting, re-arranging and setting field properties). We will finish up by using lookup fields and calculated fields in a table.

Visio comes with diagram-specific shapes and tools that enable you to quickly create professional-looking flowcharts, organization charts, timelines, & more. We will learn how to create some basic shapes, and connect, distribute, and align them with Auto-connect.

This 1 & 1/2 hour in person session will begin by logging in to Teams training accounts. Next we will explore the Teams call interface, including contacts, contact groups, and Voicemail. We will take a look at call settings and then spend the rest of the time practicing making and receiving calls, transferring calls, placing calls on hold, and merging calls.

In this two hour online workshop attendees will learn how to create and work with Access forms. We will create a new form using the form wizard and explore the layout view and the design view. We will learn how to modify the controls in the form as well as add new controls, including a calculated control and lookup control.

In this 1 hour hybrid workshop, learn about Excel Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts. Topics include learning how to create a Pivot Table; rearrange and then format the data; set filters with Slicers and Timelines; and finally creating a Pivot Chart of the data in the Pivot Table. During this 90 minute workshop, participants will rethink how they structure, word, and utilize their syllabus, adding to it structures and language that signals to students a welcoming learning environment. Some of the topics will include syllabus language, policies, readings and content, assignments, and grading.

This 2-hour online workshop introduces the Access query object. Topics include working in design view; creating a simple query by adding and removing fields and adding criterion. We will create multi-table queries; calculated fields and set field properties; explore a totals query, parameter query, and action queries.

In this 2-hour instructor led InDesign workshop, participants will learn how to create and open InDesign documents, navigate the user interface, modify a document, import graphics, and manipulate basic text and text frames and create a postcard in the process. We will enter data into OneNote from a variety of sources, from existing documents to webpages. We will discuss merits of embedding spreadsheets or linking.
