    This is your opportunity to learn about major projects and initiatives taking place at the university. At this annual event hosted by the Strategic Project Management Office, you’ll hear from university leaders sharing success stories, mingle with units delivering their best practices and explore toolkits at exhibitor booths.

  • 2:00 - 3:00 pm

    All staff now have the opportunity to submit a self-evaluation for their annual performance appraisal. We will discuss how to use and complete the self-evaluations. In addition, any questions about self-evaluations will be addressed for staff and supervisors.

    This New Employee Orientation (NEO) will be held in Microsoft Teams. This optional training is highly recommended for recent new hires. At this online training session, we will discuss the structure of the university and Student Affairs, the leadership of Illini Union, important workplace rules, payroll and benefits, training and development and staying safe.

MHFA courses include approximately 2 hours of on-line pre-course work, 7 hours of in-person training, and 1 hour of on-line post-coursework.

    As part of Illini Union's emergency preparedness training program, experts from the Police Department will share their insights on how to manage potentially dangerous confrontations. They will provide hands-on practice with proven de-escalation techniques that can be particularly helpful to frontline staff.

    The Threat Evaluation and Reporting Overview is an introductory training intended for the public and community members who help identify threats or observable behaviors that may concern others. TERO emphasizes the importance of community involvement and raises awareness about the behavioral approach to violence prevention.
