All DayI Hotel and ZoomThis program is for supervisors. It offers an opportunity to develop self-awareness of management styles and personal biases, to practice strategies for resolving conflict, and to build confidence in leading others through feedback and coaching techniques. Applications are required by June 22 and attendance costs $250 per participant.

The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis. MHFA courses include approximately 2 hours of on-line pre-course work, 7 hours of in-person training, and 1 hour of on-line post-coursework.

This New Employee Orientation (NEO) will be held in Microsoft Teams. This optional training is highly recommended for recent new hires. At this online training event, we will discuss the structure of the university and Student Affairs, the leadership of Illini Union, important workplace rules, payroll and benefits, training and development and staying safe.

1:30 - 3:00 pmIllini Union room 222 (IU Board Office)A trainer from UIPD will hold an informal session on the revised BEAP process and provide insights on the new system involved. This discussion will include the opportunity to ask questions of the UIPD trainer.
