Ross Wantland, Director of Curriculum Development & Education at the Office of Academic Inclusive Excellence, will hold a 2-part workshop for Illini Union staff on March 11 and 12.
This in-person workshop will illustrate how microaggressions and unconscious bias can occur in the workplace, and affect female and minority staff disproportionately. The workshop will also include coverage of how to identify, deal with and prevent future instances of both unconscious bias and microaggressions.
Please register by March 10 using the registration link above and attend both sessions. This event is open to all Illini Union staff as long as they have any necessary supervisor permission to attend.
