SA Diversity and Social Justice Education will hold a seminar in Teams for the benefit of Illini Union.
The seminar will inform managers and staff about how both unconscious bias and microaggressions can occur in any workplace, and affect female and minority staff disproportionately.
The workshop will include coverage of how to identify, deal with and prevent future instances of unconscious bias and microaggressions.
Registration is not needed. This event is open to all Illini Union staff as long as they have any necessary supervisor permission to attend.
