International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) will be holding a workshop on Stumbling Blocks To Intercultural Communication (both in person and in Teams) at Illini Union on Friday, May 3. This training event will take place from 10.00 am to 11.30 am and will take place in room 314B.
ISSS will address the following topics during the workshop:
•Cultural barriers facing international students at work
•Preventing and minimizing miscommunication
•Minimizing the impact of cultural barriers
Registration is not needed for this training event. This event will be open to all Illini Union staff and student employees, as long as they have any supervisor permission needed to attend it.
