More About Our Speaker
Dr. Carter is a Senior Manager for Data Science at John Deere. Her team, Personalized Experience, works on digital platforms like John Deere Operations Center, where they figure out how to make digital tools more efficient and effective for customers.She is also a Lecturer at Columbia University in their Applied Analytics Master's online program. She teaches the Capstone Project, where corporate sponsors partner with student teams to work on real-world problems with real-world data.
She has graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign - twice! She received her Bachelor’s in Crop Sciences: Plant Biotechnology and Molecular Biology and her PhD in Informatics: Data Analytics and Information Visualization.
