What Editors Want: How to Write and Peer Review Papers | May 2
On May 2, at 3 p.m. in the Beckman Institute Auditorium, Annette Fenner, Chief Editor of Nature Reviews Urology will present “What Editors Want: How to Write and Peer Review Papers.” Attendees will have an opportunity to connect and learn first-hand how to write and position their research to maximize the chances of having it published. A reception will follow. RSVP by April 25.
Writing and peer reviewing for journals are skills that take practice, but knowing what journal editors want can give you a head start! In this talk, Dr. Fenner will discuss what editors look for in primary papers and reviews and will offer tips on how to be a better writer and reviewer. This event is sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute (IHSI), the Roy J. Carver Biotechnology Center, and the Department of Earth Science & Environmental Change (ESEC).
Please join us for a networking reception immediately following the lecture in Beckman Room 1005.
