Effective feedback is important for student success. In this workshop, we will cover a variety of approaches to providing constructive and efficient feedback in different learning situations. The session will help you identify where students could use feedback in your course, what constitutes good feedback, and ways to encourage students to engage with your comments. You will learn feedback strategies to help your students improve their work and understanding of the course material and have a chance to consider which approaches would work in your course.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
