Once you have good assessments properly aligned with your learning objectives, you are still faced with the sometimes daunting task of providing feedback to students in a fair, efficient, and useful manner. In this workshop, we’ll help you develop strategies to: 1) minimize bias in your grading, 2) break up big assignments into smaller chunks so students can learn from the process, 3) offer concise but helpful feedback on student writing, and 4) help students self-evaluate.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design summer series. You may sign up for any or all of the workshops in the series using the registration form. If you register, you'll eventually be added to a Canvas course to help follow along with the series. For those planning to join via Zoom, the link will be made available to you through the Canvas course.
