In this session we will talk about designing grading policies which support and motivate student effort and learning instead of using grades solely as evidence of achievement of learning outcomes.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design series. You may sign up for any or all workshops in the series using the registration form. From 3:30pm-4:00pm after every workshop in the series, you can stick around to learn about Canvas features relevant to the day's topic.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
