The ECEC24 virtual conference will feature traditional 15-minute presentations and lightning talk sessions on the latest in emerging contaminant research, policies, and outreach in the soil, water, and air.
Researchers, educators, businesses, government officials, regulatory agencies, policymakers, outreach and extension professionals, environmental groups, members of the general public, and medical, veterinary, and public health professionals are encouraged to submit abstracts and attend the conference.
The Emerging Contaminants in the Environment Conference, co-hosted by the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center and Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant, has been held annually since 2016. ECEC24 is a certified green event by the University of Illinois’ Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment.
