Join Allerton Natural Areas staff on a leisurely morning of birding at Slow Birding from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9 (meet at the Centaur Parking Lot).
Participants will take a short, slow hike to a secluded fireside spot in the woods, emphasizing the joy of observing birds that grace us, including woodpeckers diligently at work, nuthatches securing their caches and chickadees playfully scolding.
Be sure to bring your thermos of coffee or tea to keep you warm as you use an unhurried pace to connect with birds at the Park!
