According to figures compiled by the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, Illinois ranks fifth in Bigfoot sightings and reports with a whopping 302 on record.
With that in mind, we think it’s time to track one down at Allerton, and we need your help! If successful, we hear the Allerton Bigfoot may even have some treats to pass out!
Grab your family and some flashlights and help with the ‘hunt’ on Wednesday March 15. Search for clues through the Allerton trails and maybe you’ll see the elusive Bigfoot. Watch out, though! There may be some tricks out there to fool you.
All hunters should meet in the Main Parking Lot by 7 p.m. to find out where he was last spotted and to receive a map. From there, build a hunting party or trek on your own to find the Bigfoot’s lair.
The cost is $10/group. Register here. (NOTE: Only the leader of your group needs a paid ticket. Other team members should be registered as free ‘Add -ons’.)
Hunters only need to bring a flashlight and their wits to find the Allerton Bigfoot.
