Description: Praat is a computer program used for the analysis of speech, especially for acoustic analysis. This workshop will cover the basics of Praat such as the annotation of sound files and how to take manual measurements of duration, formants, intensity, and pitch for phonetic analysis as well as the taking and reading of spectra.
