In this session, we’ll figure out how to choose assessments that not only measure whether students have learned but also help them learn in the first place. We’ll also discover that assessments can go way beyond the traditional exam, quiz, or term paper.

This workshop is part of the What You Need to Know: Essentials of Course Design series. You may sign up for any or all workshops in the series using the registration form. From 3:30pm-4:00pm after every workshop in the series, you can stick around to learn about Canvas features relevant to the day's topic.

This workshop counts towards the Graduate Teacher Certificate or the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching.
