Urbana Campus Research Calendar (OVCRI)

Registration is now open for our next Tech Talk at Beckman Institute. Beckman Vis Lab Tech Talks presents: Pore-Scale Modeling of Fluid Flow in Food Matrices with Ramin Nemati. Please join us at noon on Tuesday, April 14, in 5602 at Beckman. Lunch will be provided to those who register for in-person attendance. Please register by April 10.

This one-day on-campus symposium will describe disciplinary and professional attempts to rationalize architecture through research. Our focus will be on architecture that is concerned with health, defined here to include both medical architecture and extra-medical spaces like workplaces and homes.

Alex Moehring will present "Designing Human-AI Collaboration: A Sufficient Statistic Approach" as part of the AImpact Speaker Series.

Recent work at the Colorado School of Mines have shown that highly persistent fluorochemical contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substance (PFAS) “forever chemicals”, can be mineralized using a hydrothermal alkaline treatment (HALT) process.
