Beckman Institute Calendar (Master)

Dr. Sadeghi will present dynamic membrane modeling framework [1-3], and discuss quantitative results on membrane- mediated interactions, aggregation kinetics, free energy landscapes, and entropy change governing the formation and break-up of protein clusters on the surface of the membrane.

The Neuroscience Program at Illinois is sponsoring the Neuroscience Program Fall Orientation 2022 on August 18 in Beckman Institute room 5602 at 12:00pm. This meeting will be for new students and their faculty advisors.

The mentoring relationship between the advisor and graduate student is a central part of graduate education. Alexis will discuss tools for developing a strong mentoring relationship and navigating issues if they arise.
