Experience a performance in the galleries by Elliott Levin (saxophone, poetry, flute) and Damon Smith (bass). Sudden Sound concerts feature leading artists in avant-garde jazz and music improvisation. Curated by Jason Finkelman, director of Global Arts Performance Initiatives. Exhibitions include: “Another Place: Storymaking the Entangled Prairie” and “Memorias de la Mujer Lotina: Arpilleras, Women, and Coal in Chile.” The museum is open Tuesday through Friday (10–5) and Saturday (10–4) during Spring Break. Admission is always free. Parking access is easy during school breaks.

Join Spurlock Museum, SkAI, and University of Illinois faculty in a discussion exploring the use of AI. Topics to be explored will be arts and humanities, science, and ethics.

Join us for a leisurely craft to harness your burst of creative energy. We will have all sorts of supplies provided for you to play around with and craft culturally iconic flowers from all over the world.

Stop by anytime between 5 PM and 8 PM to explore Spurlock’s newest exhibit, “Unfinished Revolutions: Living Stories of American Rights.” Enjoy light refreshments and listen to protest music performed by Paul Kotheimer.
