Attention students: Join us in room 220 of the Main Library on Thursday, 3/26 from 3-4:30 pm for a FREE “Paint & Sip” workshop!* Sip on a mocktail while you learn about the soothing art of watercolors through an artist-led tutorial on how to paint your very own squirrel design. All experience levels welcome!

Three experts from across campus will each discuss their work related to Invasive Species and respond to questions from attendees during the #FunkPanel2026. Their work focuses on Illinois invasive species issues with an emphasis on management and prevention; threats to Illinois agriculture, forestry and the environment; as well as ongoing research on biological invasions.

On Reading Day, take a study break to relax and refresh at the library’s end-of-semester tradition, De-Stress Fest! Participating locations include Main Library, Funk Library, Grainger Engineering Library, and the Music and Performing Arts Library (MPAL).
