In honor of National Poetry Month, join us on Tuesday, 4/7 at 2-3:30 pm in the Orange Room of the Main Library to find poetry between the lines. With an old page and a sharpie, create your very own blackout poem. Supplies and snacks provided. Free!

VR Club at UIUC hosts meetings on Fridays from 4 - 7 PM at the IDEA Lab. Three experts from across campus will each discuss their work related to Invasive Species and respond to questions from attendees during the #FunkPanel2026. Their work focuses on Illinois invasive species issues with an emphasis on management and prevention; threats to Illinois agriculture, forestry and the environment; as well as ongoing research on biological invasions.

Calling all comic book lovers, and soon-to-be comic book lovers! Join the TLAS and IAS campus libraries on Thursday, 4/23 from 3-5 pm in the Orange Room of the Main Library for Comic-Palooza! With an expansive (and growing) comic collection, the library has something for everyone. Free! Snacks provided.

​From Noon to 4:00 PM, the library's Grainger Commons will transform into a drop-in study space so you can finish up that last assignment or get in the zone to study for finals.

On Reading Day, take a study break to relax and refresh at the library’s end-of-semester tradition, De-Stress Fest! Participating locations include Main Library, Funk Library, Grainger Engineering Library, and the Music and Performing Arts Library (MPAL).
