Project READ provides free tutoring to adult learners who seek to improve their basic reading, writing, math, and English skills. Help us support our adult learners by joining our community of volunteers. Regularly needed volunteer opportunity. 17 or older (with HS diploma or GED). Volunteer must provide own transportation. Other All tutoring locations are located on MTD

This fall we will be at both Champaign Church of Christ and Hope Center. Volunteers are needed to pack bags, unload deliveries and pick up and take bins to school. Volunteer activities will primarily be on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to balance empathy and effectiveness through compassionate leadership. Defining features of this workshop include practicing active listening, tools to prevent empathy burnout, and tips on how to give clear, direct feedback.

Speak Café stands for Song, Poetry, Expression, Art, and Knowledge. It is an open-mic public performance space at Krannert Art Museum curated by local artist, Shaya Robinson, featuring guest performers and welcoming all to the mic.

Directed by Volodymyr Sydko, this project is dedicated to the economic aspects of the Russia-occupied Donbas. It studies the situation at specific Ukrainian enterprises and single-industry cities that worked in the past with now occupied areas of Donbas.
