In this talk, we'll look at one professor's perspective on why students struggle in chemistry. Is it that the material is too hard?  Probably not! We will spend about an hour discussing how to best use your time before, during, and after class, and look at a few study skills that should help you perform to the best of your abilities in your chemistry classes (and beyond)!

We’ll dispel some misconceptions about studying for multiple-choice exams, and give you some tools for studying more effectively. We’ll discuss how you identify what you need to know, how to know when you know it, and how to use the resources you have effectively. This workshop is ideal for students in any major taking test-based PSYC courses on the 100- or 200- level.
