Dani Nutting is a DMA Candidate in Flute Performance & Literature with a cognate in Ethnomusicology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her dissertation focuses on Bulgarian flute traditions and their intersection with local expressive culture. For her project, Dani conducted ethnographic research in Bulgaria that was supported by a Fulbright study/research grant, among others.
