Flyer for a Narcan Training event hosted by the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Student Affairs. The training will take place on Wednesday, September 2, from 12 - 1 PM at WRC @ 616 E Green St, Suite 213. Attendees will learn how to use Narcan (naloxone) in an emergency and receive a free Narcan kit. Pizza will be provided for the first 20 attendees. The WRC has partnered with the Counseling Center and the Champaign-Urbana Public Health Department to provide a FREE training on how to use Narcan, an over-the-counter medication that can reverse overdoses caused by opioids. Knowing how to administer Narcan can save someone’s life!

This training will offer guidance on what to do during emergency situations, and Narcan kits will be available for attendees.

Pizza will be provided for the first 20 participants. 

This event is open to all eligible persons regardless of gender, race, color or national origin.

This training is part of the Illinois Changemaker Certificate Program.
