Info Session: ANSC 398 - Animal Exploration in Sri Lanka

Come learn more about the NEW Animal Explorations in Sri Lanka program running in May 2027! Sri Lanka is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including Asian elephants, leopards, primates, sea turtles, marine mammals, peacocks, ornamental fish, and pollinators such as honey bees. Students will travel across the country to observe these animals in their natural habitats, visit research and conservation facilities, engage with veterinary and wildlife professionals, and explore how cultural traditions influence animal welfare and conservation policies.

The program combines classroom learning with experiential education, allowing students to connect scientific concepts with real-world conservation challenges and solutions.
