Join us on a journey into Amish Country, home to the Amish people with a culture uniquely distinct from others. The Amish primarily reside in Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, with a smaller settlement located in central Illinois. Their culture is rooted in the Old Order traditions of Christianity and is characterized by a commitment to simplicity, humility, and community. By choosing to live without many forms of modern technology, the Amish maintain a lifestyle that reflects their deeply held values and long‑standing traditions.

During this field trip to their home, we will be able to learn more about their culture, ways, values and beliefs. We will also enjoy a delicious Amish home‑cooked meal prepared by Amish family. We will have a personal tour guide giving us first-hand information about the Amish people and answering our questions.
