"The Art of Recreating Transnational Solidarity Against Global Apartheids"

This exhibition brings together three voices against global apartheids: grassroots activists for humane urbanisms, (digital stories); UIUC protests and encampments (archival images 1969s-2024); and Woman Life Freedom movement (artwork).

On April 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, there will be an art exhibition opening reception at Murphy Art Gallery, University YMCA. A performance by Mirage Music Ensemble is scheduled for 6:30 PM. On April 11, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, the Friday Forum at Latzer Hall, University YMCA, will feature a talk titled “The Art of Recreating Transnational Solidarity Against Global Apartheids,” presented by the Woman Life Freedom Collective and the Humane Urbanisms Project.
