What is the Fulbright program, and what opportunities does it afford musicians? In a 60-minute workshop (including Q&A), pianist and Fulbright alumna Melissa Terrall discusses her experience applying multiple times to the Fulbright U.S. student program—eventually receiving a grant to study Mexican piano repertoire at Mexico City’s National Conservatory. Melissa offers an overview of Fulbright, helpful tips, and do’s and don’ts of the application process especially for musicians. Ideal for university music programs and university study abroad offices.
Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided. You can RSVP now at this link here: https://forms.illinois.edu/sec/664656348
