A tribute in the form of recitals, outreach initiatives, and thematic lectures around the life and work of two of the greatest composers from Brazil. Illinois’ assistant professor of clarinet, Dr. Iura de Rezende, will host the event and participate in the activities with guest artists, LSU Boyd Professor of piano and jazz studies Willis Delony, Brazilian pianist Elisa Galeano, along with faculty and students from the School of Music. This event is made possible through a generous grant from The Lemann Center for Brazilian Studies.
