Description:
This is a collaborative effort between the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) at Curitiba. Participants will engage with professors, graduate students, and undergraduate students at UFPR and will emerge in an intensive hands-on experience through interactive rotation activities at the veterinary hospital, wildlife avian conservation sanctuary/ farm, companion animal research center, and center of integrated studies in aquaculture and environmental sciences.
This course will provide a unique opportunity for UIUC undergraduate students participate in a life-changing experience that will encompass a series of activities that will challenge and empower them, broadening their academic and technical skills, with intercultural, personal and social benefits that will have a sustained impact in the students’ professional and personal development.
