This is an invitation to join our on-site partners from VACorps in Cape Town for an informal discussion on what day-to-day life in South Africa (specifically Cape Town) is like right now. The virtual session will take place on Thursday, February 3 at 9am CST.
We know it can be hard to visualize studying abroad given ongoing COVID-19 concerns, and many of you have questions about safety as you consider moving forward with your summer applications. We thought the best people to talk through these details and answer your questions would be our colleagues who live and work in Cape Town so that you can get a local perspective. They have been facilitating the faculty-led program for over 10 years and have more than 50 students studying abroad with them right now, so they can also share a bit about the student experience and what to expect.
