The two panelists from the School of Visual Arts (NYC), Anthony Giacchino (film) and Terrence Masson (visual arts) will share how generative AI has expanded their artistic vocabularies and practices.  Showcasing their art and decades of interdisciplinary experiences, they will also consider the future of their respective fields, both in the professional and academic spheres.  Are we at the threshold of the next artistic revolution aided by generative AI? Terrence Masson: MFA Computer Arts Chair, and founding Director of the SVA Graduate Center, has 35 years of production and education leadership experience across feature film, animation, video game and innovation technologies.

Anthony Giacchino: Oscar winning documentary filmmaker and founding instructor for SVA's "AI Filmmaking" course, exploring the latest creative technologies for storytelling across a wide range of media.
