An Exciting, Interactive, Informative workshop about Generative AI.

To our 2024 Faculty Retreat Attendees and Campus Colleagues.

Do you want to learn more about using Generative AI pedagogically? Are you interested in getting a better understanding of how these tools and platforms might help with classroom engagement and practice? Maybe you are just looking for a place to start with Generative AI? In any case, if you are just curious about Generative AI, then this workshop may be for you. Justin Hodgson, IU Bloomington faculty member and Director of the IU Digital Gardener Initiative, will lead participants in a professional development session offering multiple approaches for leveraging Generative AI for instruction and learning. These approaches will range from intro-level engagements focused on helping novices “build creative confidence” to next-tier strategies for assignment creation & assessment to more advanced integrations of Generative AI into our work with students.
