The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and assessing teaching effectiveness and student learning. We assist faculty, academic units, and teaching assistants in improving instruction. In addition to the events listed below, we are always available for individual consultations or special activities within a department or college. Most of the workshops count toward CITL certificate program continuing education credit. Please check back often to see what events have been added. UIUC now provides all Faculty and Staff with full, Enterprise license access to Storyblocks.com, a huge repository for stock images, videos, music, sound effects, motion graphic templates, and more. In this 1 hour workshop, our CITL media team will demonstrate how to navigate the repository, use it's lite-weight media editor, and incorporate some media clips into your teaching through tried and true tools like Powerpoint. This event is 100% online and the recording will be publicly available afterwards.

Further consultations and questions about Storyblocks and stock media in your teaching can be sent to citl-imr@illinois.edu.
