The Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning is dedicated to promoting, enhancing, and assessing teaching effectiveness and student learning. We assist faculty, academic units, and teaching assistants in improving instruction. In addition to the events listed below, we are always available for individual consultations or special activities within a department or college. Most of the workshops count toward CITL certificate program continuing education credit. Please check back often to see what events have been added. Let's Talk!

Connect online and share your ideas at this fun and informal Happy Hour hosted by the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning. Fast-paced forum features topics of interest to Graduate Instructors and Teaching Assistants from managing relationships with your course instructor, to effective tools for keeping students motivated and engaged. Tune in on the first Wednesdays of the month from 4--5 pm (CST) to test out collaborative tools, ask questions, or just kick back with other graduate teachers. Different topics every month. E-mail citl-learningspaces@mx.uillinois.edu with questions or suggestions.
