Encouraging a Growth Mindset in Your Classroom

Do you know the difference between a fixed mindset and a growth mindset? Join us as we explore a question that has become increasingly important to supporting student success: How do we encourage the kinds of thinking and learning behaviors in our students that will help them develop and sustain a growth mindset? In this session we’ll examine different examples of learning behaviors and talk about strategies instructors can use to encourage and support a growth  mindset in their classrooms.

This workshop counts towards the requirements of the Graduate Teacher Certificate, the Certificate in Foundations of Teaching, and the Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Teaching.
