Join us for the next Resources for Researchers Office Hours, where we'll spotlight High-Performance Computing in Biology (HPCBio)! This session will be led by Chris Fields, Director of HPCBio, and will be held online via Zoom. HPCBio is the bioinformatics core of the Roy J. Carver Biotechnology Center, working at the intersection of biological data analysis and high-performance computing. Anchored in the genomics research agenda of the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology and coordinating closely with NCSA, HPCBio provides infrastructure, training, and consulting for researchers working with genomic and other high-throughput biological data, from RNA-Seq analysis to broader omics data processing. Whether you're generating large-scale biological data, need computational support to make sense of it, or are simply curious what this campus resource can do for your work, this is a great opportunity to learn more. HPCBio is open to researchers across all Illinois campus units. Join us online to connect and discover how HPCBio can support your research.
July 14, 1–2 PM • Resources for Researchers Office Hours meets each month highlighting a different campus resource - NOTE: Zoom link will become live 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
