Attending a career fair is an important step in finding an internship or full-time position. Illinois hosts a variety of career fairs throughout the school year, and we know they can feel overwhelming—especially if it’s your first time. This introductory workshop is designed for students who are new to career fairs or just beginning to explore their career options. You’ll learn what to expect, how to craft an effective elevator pitch, navigate employer booths with confidence, and follow up with employers after the event. You've got this! This is one of our most popular workshops, so registration is highly encouraged but not required. Important

Note: We recommend registering on Handshake in advance to secure your spot. While registration isn’t required, priority will be given to registered students, followed by first-come, first-served. Once we reach room capacity, we may not be able to admit additional attendees. This event is open to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, or national origin. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request, please contact careercenter@illinois.edu
