Using Islamic Iberia as the backdrop, this lecture and dinner experience celebrates the shared histories and identities of Arabic and Hebrew. The event will include presentations on how the legacy of Al-Andalus lives on in both Arabic and Hebrew poetry, and will feature modern adaptations of the era's cuisine, and a live musical performance.
